Location: Berkley Center Third Floor Conference Room Map

Since fall 2011, Georgetown University has been an active participant in the President's Interfaith and Community Service Campus Challenge, a White House initiative engaging nearly 400 campuses around the country. This year-end roundtable was an opportunity for students, faculty, staff, and community partners to come together to reflect on their experiences in advancing interfaith engagement around community challenges of poverty and educational opportunity.

Jack Gordon, founder of Faith in Action DC, a multimedia project that documents and celebrates the social justice and community service work of diverse people of faith in the Washington, DC area, led the discussion. Other participants included Rebecca Ennen, Jews United for Justice; Rev. Joi Orr, Faith for Change; Gretchen Rydin and Chase Kimball, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; and Sana Saeed, Interfaith Alliance.
