Global Social Justice Research Homecoming Showcase

Four current Georgetown students and one recent graduate shared their research findings and experience with the greater Georgetown community at this Homecoming Weekend event. Speakers included 100 Projects for Peace Awardees Phil Wong and Phil Dearing, who traveled to Rwanda during summer 2014; Kendra Layton, one of the 2014 Education and Social Justice Project fellows who conducted research on Caritas in Bangladesh; Andretta Social Justice Research Fellow Elaine Colligan, who spent summer 2014 in Senegal; and alumna and former Fulbright scholar Jordan Denari, who researched the impact of Christian TV on Muslim-Christian relations in Jordan.

This event was co-sponsored by the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs and the Center for Social Justice, Teaching, and Research.
