Workshop on Religion and World Order

September 18, 2015
2:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. EDT

Georgetown’s schools, departments, centers, and institutes explore global issues ranging from human rights to development and the environment in order to advance the common good. “The Congress of Vienna 2015” will serve as a gathering of global thought leaders to discuss and develop principles for a stable and just world order. In anticipation of the event, scholars of religion, politics, and international relations came together to debate the role of religion in world order and its complex implications for two critical global policy imperatives—combating terrorism and advancing human rights.
This event was co-sponsored by the Berkley Center and the Chumir Ethics Foundation.
