Father David-Maria Jaeger, O.F.M, J.C.D., is a prelate auditor (judge) of the Roman Rota, a top papal law court, and an ordained Catholic priest. Born to Jewish parents in Israel, he has worked to improve Catholic-Jewish relations around the world; Jaeger was a Vatican negotiator on the Fundamental Agreement between the Holy See and the State of Israel (1993).
