Eduardo Peñalver is a professor of law and the Allan R. Tessler Dean of Cornell Law School, where he began working in 2006. He formerly taught at Fordham Law School between 2003 and 2006 and was also John P. Wilson Professor of Law at the University of Chicago Law School during 2013 and 2014. He is the co-author of Property Outlaws (2010) and An Introduction to Property Theory (2011). Prior to getting his law degree from Yale Law School, Peñalver received his B.A. from Cornell and was a Rhodes Scholar at Oriel College, Oxford, where he studied theology and philosophy.
