Henry Schwarz was a professor of English at Georgetown from 1991 to 2018. He previously taught a class supported through the Berkley Center's Doyle Seminars project. His fields of teaching and research include colonial and postcolonial world cultures, especially India, and literary theory and cultural studies. Schwarz earned his Ph.D. from Duke University, an M.A. from Rutgers University, and B.A. from McGill University.
