Josina De Raadt

Josina De Raadt is a senior History major at Dordt College looking forward to spending the spring 2013 semester in the Netherlands. Her childhood is filled with bright memories of making traditional Dutch desserts with her mom and playing on her family’s California dairy farm; she was also fortunate to have grown up in a strong Christian family. These three factors––her Dutch background, agricultural upbringing, and Christian faith––have been the biggest influences in her life. After high school she decided to attend Dordt College, a small school of 1,400 students halfway across the country in Sioux Center, IA. After graduation, she hope to spend a year either volunteering or interning for a non-profit organization such as World Renew (Christian Reformed World Relief Committee); she is also considering going to graduate school in Information Management. Wherever God takes her after graduation, she will also continue to advocate for strong, family-based agriculture.
