Joyce S. Dubensky is CEO of the Tanenbaum Center for Interreligious Understanding, which creates practical programs that address unresolved tensions in religiously diverse workplaces, schools, the health care sector, and areas of armed conflict. She co-authored and assembled Peacemakers in Action: Profiles in Religious Conflict Resolution (2007) and led development of COEXIST, a complementary high school conflict resolution curriculum. Before joining Tanenbaum, Dubensky was deputy director with the New York Region of the National Conference for Community and Justice (formerly the National Conference of Christians and Jews) after serving as national director of marketing and communications. She served as general counsel with the United Jewish Appeal-Federation of Jewish Philanthropies of New York and was a participant in the 2008 Alliance of Civilizations forum in Madrid. Dubensky holds her J.D. from New York University School of Law and a master’s degree from Adelphi University.
