Juan Carlos Miranda is one of the founders of Protagonizar, a microcredit lender in the lower class community of San Miguel, Buenos Aires, Argentina and now serves as director of the agency's divisions in the neighborhoods of Mitre and Marilo. Miranda, a lifelong resident of San Miguel, taught at a Jesuit school and worked in a local parish prior to his founding Protagonizar. In his current role, he oversees the logistics, credits, and employees of the Mitra and Marilo offices.
