Father Julio
César Sosa González, S.J. is a professor of philosophy at Central American University (Universidad
Centroamericana, UCA), where he has been a faculty member for seven years. He also serves as the secretary for UCA's board of directors. Father Sosa was the coordinator of the Philosophy
Department for five years. He now teaches one postgraduate course, as well as several undergraduate
humanities and philosophy courses for both philosophy majors and other
students. He is in charge of the undergraduate degree program’s social
projects, including las prácticas, in which philosophy students in
service-learning courses teach middle school students.
