Louise Melling is a deputy legal director of the American Civil Liberties Union, a national non-profit that works to defend the individual rights granted by the Constitution. In addition to her role as a deputy legal director, Melling also serves as the director of the ACLU's Center for Liberty. Throughout her career, she has spent time advocating to ensure reproductive freedom, LGBTQ rights, and religious liberties. Melling holds a B.A. from Oberlin College and J.D. from Yale Law School.
