Maria Bobenrieth is executive director of Women Win, whose work at the intersection of women's rights, development, and sport has reached 1.25 million girls in 100 countries since 2008. She has over 20 years of international business management experience working for major brands applying innovative multi-sector approaches to solve business and social challenges. From 1998 to 2009 Bobenrieth worked in various capacities at Nike, most recently serving as the global director of community investments. The first board of directors chair of Women Win, she stepped down in 2010 to join the organization as executive director. Throughout her life and career Bobenrieth has also served on the board of the Homeless World Cup and as a technical advisor to the Australian Sports Outreach Programme in India. Bobenrieth holds a B.S. in International Business, a master’s degree in International Management, and has done extensive postgraduate work in cross sector partnerships.
