Michael M.J. Fischer is the Andrew W. Mellon Professor in the Humanities and professor of anthropology and science and technology studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His research interests include the anthropology of biomedical sciences and technologies, anthropological methods for the contemporary world, and the anthropology of media circuits.
