Nida Gelazis is a Senior Associate for European Studies at the Woodrow Wilson Center, where she specializes in democracy, human rights, and international law. Much of her work centers on East and Southeast Europe. Before joining the Wilson Center, she served as Managing Editor of East European Constitutional Review, based at the University of Chicago. Her publications include Cities after the Fall of Communism: Reshaping Cultural Landscapes and European Identity (co-editor, Woodrow Wilson Press, 2009) and "The Tenth Anniversary of the Dayton Accords and Afterwards: Reflections on Post-Conflict State- and Nation-Building" (editor, EES Special Report, April 2007). She received her BA from the University of Chicago and and LLM in Comparative European and International Law from the European University Institute in Florence.
