Seth Warner

Seth Warner is a junior at Vassar College studying Political Science and Religion. Seth has worked on several political campaigns in volunteer and management positions. For nearly two years Seth wrote a weekly opinion column for Patch.com in his home state of Connecticut. At Vassar, he taught SAT classes to lower-income youth and served as a teaching assistant to a Model United Nations course. Seth is interested in public opinion relative to both political and religious institutions and how popular views are shaped and manifested by electoral behavior. His paper examining the economic bailout’s effect on the 2008 presidential election won the Best Visiting Paper award at this year’s SUNY Oneonta Undergraduate Political Science Conference. Grappling with a potential call to the ministry, Seth is a 2012 Undergraduate Fellow with the Fund for Theological Education. He also looks to explore opportunities in law and public service, including the prospect of elected office.
