Whoever is selected will face numerous challenges as they lead a diverse group of more than one billion Catholics worldwide. In a video Q&A, Paul Elie says that human sexuality is the most pressing issue facing the Catholic Church. In an ideal world, the next pope would work to create a credible contemporary position on this important issue.
