Navigating Religion and World Affairs: An Atlantic Forum
June 28, 2010
This report outlines the proceedings of a forum that the Berkley Center convened in Berlin on June 28-29, 2010. Hosted by Humboldt University and organized by the Center's Tom Banchoff and Jose Casanova, the forum brought together leading American and German scholars and professionals working at the intersection of religion and world affairs to examine the explosion of interest in the role of religion in society, politics, and international affairs on both sides of the Atlantic. The forum was made possible through the support of the Henry R. Luce Initiative on Religion and International Affairs.
