Film Guides
The Berkley Center Film Guide Series provides teachers and professors from the high school through professional levels with teaching guides rooted in social science and film studies pedagogy that can be used to provoke critical thinking about the complex nexus of religion and conflict. The Film Guides cover topics from the contemporary work of religious leaders to quell Nigeria’s sectarian violence (The Imam and the Pastor) to the timeless lessons about religious tolerance and just war from Europe’s Wars of Religion (The Last Valley). Berkley Center Film Guides are often matched with other Berkley Center Knowledge Resources, such as case studies on religion and conflict and country pages.
