Christian Churches Together in the USA
After a 5-year planning and organizational period, Christian Churches Together in the USA (CCT) launched in 2006 as a truly ecumenical national body where denominations spanning the theological spectrum could focus on developing a common Christian social witness. Currently 34 churches and national Christian organizations ranging from Pentecostal to Roman Catholic are members, with more either considering membership or present as observers. In addition to facilitating dialogue and building fellowship relationships among member groups, CCT has also pledged to find new and effective ways to jointly address poverty in the United States. Yearly conferences support networking and mutual learning.
