Human Concern International
Human Concern International (HCI) is a Canadian relief and development organization rooted in Islamic charitable principles. Many of these are "universal values" also found in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other UN human rights instruments, such as tolerance, pluralism, gender equality, public dialogue and non-violence to settle disputes. Program areas include agriculture, child sponsorship, physical and mental health care, education and vocational training, emergency relief, and public awareness campaigns.
