Institute for Religion and Public Policy
The Institute for Religion and Public Policy (IRPP) seeks to improve systemic protections for international religious freedom. Its Interparliamentary Conference on Human Rights and Religious Freedom brings politicians together to discuss the influence of religion on policy issues. The Freedom Database contains an extensive list of religious freedom-related international and legal documents. IRPP's Corporate Social Responsibility Program provides training on issues related to religion in the workplace, and its "Charter on Freedom of Expression and Journalistic Ethics in Relation to Respect for Religion or Belief" offers a global standard of practice for the media. The Expert Committee on Legislation and Implementation is active worldwide; Berkley Center Senior Fellow Thomas Farr is a member. IRPP also supports interfaith dialogue, in cooperation with the Pope John Paul II Cultural Center, and its International Consortium on Religion, Culture, and Dialogue facilitates collaboration within academia on religion in public life.
