Aisha Akanbi

Dr. Aisha Akanbi is a volunteer member of the Committee on Election Activities, Good Governance, Human Rights and Gender Issues of the Federation of Nigerian Women’s Organisations in Nigeria (FOMWAN). She is also a member of the Project 2011 Swift Count National Steering Committee, an interfaith civil society effort to promote free, credible elections through non-partisan citizen observation. Before her retirement, she was Associate Professor of Business Education at the Federal College of Education, Kano. Akanbi has a BSc in Economics from the University of Ibandan.
