Angela Wu
Angela Wu is the International Law Director of the Becket Fund. She has worked on cases before UN tribunals, the US Supreme Court, the European Court of Human Rights, and domestic courts in numerous countries. She serves on the governing Bureau of the United Nations NGO Committee on Freedom of Religion or Belief. Wu is a graduate of Northwestern University and Harvard Law School and is currently earning a PhD in international religious freedom law from Oxford University. She earned a D.E.S. in European Law from the Université Libre de Bruxelles as a Fulbright Scholar. She clerked in the federal circuit courts of appeal for the Honorable William W. Schwarzer in San Francisco. Wu has worked for Oxfam America in Boston, and served as a negotiations consultant on civil society issues to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development in Paris. Before joining Becket, she was a corporate lawyer in New York.
