Giannamaita

Gianna Maita

Gianna Maita is a student from New Jersey in the class of 2015 at Georgetown University’s College, majoring in Arabic with a minor in Justice and Peace Studies. She is the coordinator of Issue of the Month on the Hoya Outreach Programs and Education (HOPE) board, as well as a member of the Concert Choir and an actress in several theatrical productions at Georgetown. This past summer Maita interned at Covenant House International and was motivated to introduce the Solidarity Sleep Out to Georgetown. She is particularly interested in international women’s rights issues and youth homelessness.
