Glen H. Stassen

Glen H. Stassen is currently the Lewis B. Smedes Professor of Christian Ethics at Fuller Theological Seminary.  His work reflects his  commitment to social justice and the desire to develop a holistic Christian ethic he terms "incarnational discipleship."  Notable publications include Kingdom Ethics: Following Jesus in Contemporary Context and a series of books on Just Peacemaking, as well as collaborations with John Howard Yoder, D.M. Yeager, and David P. Gushee.  Before arriving at Fuller Stassen previously worked for many years as a professor at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and he has also taught at Duke University, Kentucky Southern College, and Berea College. He did undergraduate study in nuclear physics at the University of Virginia and graduate study in systematic and historical theology, Christian ethics, and political philosophy at Union Theological Seminary (New York) and Duke University.
