Pew Global Attitudes Project
Started in 2001, the Pew Global Attitudes Project is a series of surveys on worldwide public opinion on a range of topics. With more than 175,000 interviews in 55 countries conducted for the project, the site offers a wealth of information to scholars, journalists, and researchers on public opinion. Reports dating back to 2001 are available online. Some examples include "Unfavorable Views of Jews and Muslims on the Increase in Europe," "Muslims in Europe: Economic Worries Top Concerns About Religious and Culture Identity," and "The Great Divide: How Westerners and Muslims View Each Other." All of the datasets related to the reports are available for download. The website also features commentaries on poll finding and news items from 2002 to the present. At the bottom left navigation, a useful links button provides links to other sites that offer surveys, most of which are centered on global opinions.
