The Pew Research Center’s report titled “Angry Silents, Disengaged Millennials: The Generation Gap and the 2012 Election” polls data from two national surveys of 4,413 adults on differences in political attitudes among generations in America. The study focuses how the broad political, social, and economic trends of recent decades have shaped the political leanings of these generations over time. Findings include data on generational views towards growing racial and ethnic diversity, immigration enforcement, and trading policy, among other pressing issues.
