Luce Initiative on Religion and International Affairs
Since June 2005 the Henry R. Luce Foundation Initiative on Religion and International Affairs has supported efforts to deepen the American public’s understanding of religion as a crucial factor in world affairs. One set of grants to professional schools of international affairs aims to prepare the next generation of policymakers for a world in which religion cuts across diverse issue areas. A further set of grants is directed more broadly at universities, public policy institutions, and media organizations working at the intersection of religion and world affairs. This site provides an overview of the programs and projects the Initiative has funded, as well as a news feed. For more information visit the Luce Foundation. You can also view a selection of books produced by projects funded under the initiative on the Immanent Frame.
