Robert Van der Waag
Robert Van der Waag is the principal at Bishop McNamara High School (Forestville, MD) effective July 1, 2013 and has taught there since 2011. Van der Waag previously was a research fellow at the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs and a professorial lecturer in the Department of Theology at Georgetown University and served as a Chaplain-in-Residence for the Office of Campus Ministry. He has received awards for his scholarship and teaching from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Duquesne University, and Rutgers University and presented papers at the Society of Christian Ethics, Leuven Encounters in Systematic Theology, and the International Conference Promoting Business Ethics. He holds a B.A. from Georgetown University, a Master's of Theological Studies degree from Duke University Divinity School, and a Ph.D. from Duquesne University.
