Junior Year Abroad Network Fall 2018 Application

July 24, 2018

The Berkley Center's Junior Year Abroad Network provides an opportunity for students to blog about their experiences and observations about religion, culture, politics, and society in their host countries. More than 600 students have contributed from over 50 countries around the world on six continents.

Participating students write three academic blogs (500-750 words each) over the course of the semester, participate in a peer commenting group with students studying in countries around the world and an assigned faculty commenter, and attend a post-trip event upon their return to campus. In return, students receive a $250 stipend and have their writing published on the Berkley Center website.

To apply, please send a statement of interest of no more than 350 words to mlf43@georgetown.edu. Applications for the Fall 2018 semester are competitive and will be accepted on a rolling basis through Friday, August 17, 2018.

Please direct any questions to Melody Fox Ahmed at mlf43@georgetown.edu.
