Georgetown Global Forum

The second annual Georgetown Global Forum convened political, religious, business, academic, and civil society leaders to discuss strategies for dealing with pressing global issues, such as poverty, access to education, and healthcare provision. The Forum showcased the new and increasingly interconnected ways in which governments, corporations, NGOs and philanthropists are developing effective programs to alleviate suffering and assist people in developing nations. The event included a lineup of many notable speakers, including President Bill Clinton, Greg Mortenson, Wendy Kopp, Founder of Teach for America, and Mohammad Yunus, Grameen Bank.
