Asia Faiths Development Dialogue

Founded in 2006, the Asia Faiths Development Dialogue (AFDD) facilitates interfaith dialogue and cooperation in Southeast Asia and the Asia-Pacific region. The organization especially focuses on the nexus of religion, globalization, violent conflict, and development; one broader goal is to promote faith and human rights education as mechanisms for development and positive transformation. The organization has hosted an annual forum since 2006 on the concept and practice of dialogue in the Asian context. Other initiatives support case study research, policy study and publication, and networking. AFDD is based at the University of Cambodia.
