Assemblies of God USA
With over 2.8 million attendees in the United States, the Assemblies of God USA is one of the largest Pentecostal denominations in the country. Since its inception, the denomination has emphasized evangelism and mission, and today that focus continues to inform its anti-poverty and development ministries, especially in Asia and Latin America. It also supports a variety of educational institutions, ranging from preschools to universities. The Assemblies of God USA conducts its ecumenical relationships through the National Association of Evangelicals, Pentecostal World Fellowship, and the World Assemblies of God Fellowship, while interfaith dialogue is primarily conducted through chaplaincy training or by individual pastors. Since 2003 the "Vision for Transformation" initiative has facilitated revision of the denomination's organizational structure and ministerial credentialing process.
