Friends World Committee for Consultation
The Friends World Committee for Consultation (FWCC) brings together representatives from various Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) groups to promote fellowship and provide a unified Quaker voice on international issues. In this spirit, the FWCC head office coordinates support for Quaker offices at the United Nations and participates in ecumenical and interfaith dialogue through the World Council of Churches. The FWCC also has a subsidiary International Membership Office which provides further connections for small and newly-established worship groups. The FWCC connects Quakers through an international directory of yearly meetings, service projects, and Quaker organizations. A triennial assembly meets to discuss FWCC operations and provides participants with an opportunity to learn more about the international work of Quakers.
