Global University Leaders Forum

Parent Organization: World Economic Forum

The Global University Leaders Forum (GULF), a group of CEOs from 25 top world universities, was established in 2006 to foster collaboration in areas of global policy importance and to assist in shaping the World Economic Forum's agenda. Membership is based on university ranking, individual leadership, geographical diversity, and the university's relevance to the forum's agenda. GULF's projects have included the International Sustainable Campus Network (ISCN) and the Society for the Advancement of Science and Technology in the Arab World (SASTA). The leaders represent a source of significant scholarship, careful leadership, and prudent advice on critical issues facing the world today.
