Ignatian Solidarity Network
The Ignatian Solidarity Network is an alliance of Jesuit schools and universities in the United States. The network, which links both the schools and their alumni, focuses on "the service of faith and promotion of justice." The organization draws inspiration from both the writings of St. Ignatius and Pedro Arrupe and the actions of the martyrs from El Salvador. The organization is known for its large gatherings of high school and college students; perhaps the most famous is the Ignatian Family Teach-in for Justice, an annual conference revolving on certain themes, ranging from dialogue to immigration reform. The organization also hosts several leadership retreats.
