International Coalition for Religious Freedom
Continuing the work of its predecessor, the Coalition for Religious Freedom, founded in 1984 to promote religious freedom in the United States, the International Coalition for Religious Freedom is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to defending the religious freedom of all people regardless of ethnicity, gender, or creed. ICRF promotes religious freedom primarily through educating the public by raising awareness of violations and coordinating campaigns to gather signatures for petitions targeted at stopping violators. Its website also contains country reports which assign a grade based on the status of religious freedom. ICRF draw significant support from the Unification Church community and advocates for an end to forcible "de-conversion" of Unification Church members in Japan.
