Public Religion Research Institute
The Public Religion Research Institute is a non-profit, non-partisan research organization specializing in the qualitative and quantitative study of political issues that are especially informed by religious tradition and values. The institute works to provide accurate and timely portraits of the American political landscape on contentious socio-political topics, particularly abortion and LGBT rights. It conducts periodic public opinion polls on related topics, the data from which the institute analyzes and compiles into accessible reports that offer a window into the collective American mind. In addition, it reviews and analyzes select news material concerning these key issues in order to better inform the public and enhance the depth of discussion with new insight.
