Union for Reform Judaism
The Union for Reform Judaism provides leadership and support to Reform congregations throughout North America. Dedicated to a progressive interpretation of Judaism, the union offers assistance in developing meaningful worship, inspirational education programs, and just social engagement. Many of its initiatives help congregations attract and retain members; these include programs for youth, families, racial and sexual minorities, and interfaith households. The union responds to crises through the Jewish Coalition for Disaster Relief, and it participated in the Nothing But Nets anti-malaria campaign. The organization also supports Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion; other partner organizations include the Central Conference of American Rabbis and the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism. The Union's current president is Rabbi Eric Yoffie.
