Communications Associate


Henry Brill is the communications associate at the Berkley Center, where he produces, writes, and edits web content to highlight faculty research and center-wide programming. He also serves as editor of the Berkley Forum, a digital platform for public scholarship hosted by the center. Before joining the Berkley Center in August 2019, he studied Turkish through a Critical Language Scholarship sponsored by the U.S. State Department. A member of Phi Beta Kappa, he holds an A.B., summa cum laude, from Kenyon College. His undergraduate thesis, The “Grave Task” of Writing Turko-Mongol History: Mirza Haydar Dughlat as a Historian, was awarded highest honors.
