Jennifer Bryson

Jennifer Bryson is the director of operations and development at the Center for Islam and Religious Freedom and a visiting professor at the U.S. Army War College. Bryson has held several positions with the Department of Defense, including providing outreach to and analysis related to Egypt and Yemen and managing a counter-terrorism research team, receiving the Defense Civilian Meritorious Service Award for this work. She most recently worked in the Office of the Secretary of Defense, leading work in the Office of Support to Public Diplomacy. Bryson has also worked in journalism. She is fluent in German and Arabic and has reading knowledge of Latin, Greek, Syriac, French, and Persian. Bryson earned her B.A. from Stanford and her M.A. and Ph.D. from Yale.
