Global Corporate Governance Forum

The Global Corporate Governance Forum (GCGF) seeks to build knowledge and capacity related to corporate governance reform in emerging markets and developing countries. Focused on the work of the private sector, GCGF addresses the vulnerability of emerging markets, private sector contributions to economic growth, and incentives that encourage corporations to operate responsibly and sustainably. It uses its research and publications on best practices to anchor its work in providing technical assistance and capacity-building training; it frequently collaborates with regional and local affiliates. The forum is a multi-donor trust fund facility located within the International Finance Corporation, co-founded in 1999 by the World Bank and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development.
