Global Women of Faith Network

The Global Women of Faith Network (GWFN), run by Religions for Peace, serves as a space for women to interact, share, and learn with women of other countries, cultures, and religions as they transform conflict and promote peace and sustainable development. GWFN has built bridges between faith-based organizations and major international agencies, and over 1,000 organizations involved in national and regional networks are part of the global network. GWFN was launched by Religions for Peace in 2001 as an offshoot of the Women's Mobilization Project, which was initially designed to build the capacity and leadership of women of faith in peacebuilding.
