August 31, 2001
This report by the Commission of the Bishops’ Conferences of the European Community draws upon personal experiences as well as the Catholic Church's social teaching in order to address the concept of global governance and credible mechanisms for its implementation. Global governance is a networked approach to solving international problems engaging governments, business, non-governmental organizations, churches, and religious communities. The report discusses ways in which global governance can protect against hegemonies and support values of freedom and justice.
