Social media plays an increasingly important role in the promotion of intercultural and interreligious dialogue. Platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube provide innovative ways for users to exchange views and build understanding over time. Over the course of the 2009-2010 academic year, a Berkley Center Undergraduate Fellows project addressed this changing social media landscape. Their report, entitled "Bridging Babel: New Social Media and Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue" included a survey of best practices, excerpts from interviews, and recommendations for taking advantage of social media to promote greater understanding between religions and cultures. This site highlights other organizations, people, and publications in this area featured in the report.
