The President’s Interfaith and Community Service Campus Challenge
The President’s Interfaith and Community Service Campus Challenge was a White House initiative from 2011 to 2016 to promote, innovate, and recognize tools for and models of interfaith service and engagement in higher education institutions, which are often on the forefront of addressing national challenges. An annual gathering held in Washington, DC, brought together national and international stakeholders to share experiences and learn from each other.
In 2015, a new initiative was created to internationalize this gathering and expand beyond its domestic focus, called the International Higher Education Interfaith Leadership Forum (IHEILF).
