Ageless Grace: Women in Leadership in the Church and the World

March 24, 2012
2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. EDT
Location: Intercultural Center (ICC) ICC Auditorium Map

To celebrate Women's History Month and its recognition by the United Nations, the Woodstock Theological Center gathered key thinkers and leaders for a conversation about empowering the next generation of women. In addition to addressing critical issues facing women around the world today, it focused attention on the stated commitment of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits) to enable women's leadership.

This gathering was intended to be an intergenerational conversation, so women and men in leadership positions in both society and the Catholic Church, from secondary schools, and from area colleges and universities were all encouraged to attend.

This event was co-sponsored by the Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs; Department of Theology; Office of Mission and Ministry; and Woodstock Theological Center at Georgetown University, with support from the Henry Luce Foundation.
