April 17-24, 2007
The Children of Abraham was a new, endowed, annual interfaith event that attempted to use the shared artistic traditions of the Jewish, Christian, and Muslim communities to foster dialogue, understanding, and peace.
The Interfaith Arts Week was a cooperative effort of the Program in Performing Arts, Program for Jewish Civilization, and Center for Contemporary Arab Studies at Georgetown University. The events were also co-sponsored by Campus Ministry, Hillel, Prince Alwaleed bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding, and Catholic Studies program.
