Christo Greyling is World Vision International’s director for faith partnerships for development. As an HIV positive faith leader from South Africa, where he is a pastor in the Dutch Reformed Church, Greyling co-developed the Channels of Hope methodology to equip local faith leaders and congregations to respond effectively to HIV/AIDS; maternal, newborn, and child health issues; child protection; and gender and gender-based violence. He has served as a board member of HIV-focused NGOs such as INERELA+, an international network of religious leaders living with, or personally affected by, HIV/AIDS; the Christian AIDS Bureau for Southern Africa; and the Ecumenical Advocacy Alliance. He has a degree in theology and a master's degree in Public Health. Born and raised in South Africa, he is currently based in the Netherlands.
