Hiromi Oka graduated from Georgetown's School of Foreign Service in 2015 with a major in international politics and a concentration in international law. From Houston, Texas, she participated in the Junior Year Abroad Network while studying abroad at Sophia University in Tokyo during the spring 2014 semester. At the Berkley Center, she worked as a communications research assistant.
